What are the advantages of the boxes?

It is easy and uncomplicated to install and remove the Tuningkit® chiptuning box, just a matter of minutes, without the help of a garage or an expert.

It’s very easy to restore factory conditions: simply remove the Tuningkit®. Generally the installation leaves no trace. Therefore your original warranty will still be valid.

No interference with engine protection programmes

The usual protection programmes (emergency programme) for your engine are not affected by installing Tuningkit®. Not so with OBD tuners: their manipulated software often circumvents the protection programme to get an excessive amount of power from the engine. In such a case the vehicle no longer recognizes where additional power becomes too much and damage occurs – not so with the Tuningkit®.

How does the Tuningkit work?

The Tuningkit® works with the latest digital technology. With our intelliTUNE technology your vehicle automatically know in what driving situations more power is needed. For example, the tuning is not active in a traffic jam or when waiting for a light to change. However, the full power output is called up digitally when passing or accelerating.

The digital technology also allows you to transfer the Tuningkit® to your next common rail vehicle and use it there, too. If at all, the only thing that may have to be bought is a compatible cable set.

Individually adjustable

You choose how you want to adjust the Tuningkit®: Our unique 16-channel technology makes it possible. For example, you can call up maximum power in week "A", while in week "B", when saving fuel is more important to you (e.g. when driving on you holidays), you simply switch to eco-mode, and already you are saving fuel. A combination of fuel savings AND more power is also possible.

Vehicle software update possible at any time

The Tuningkit® does not call up the original software of the vehicle to manipulate it. This means that a software update by the manufacturer can be installed in the vehicle at any time without problems. (A familiar scenario for many OBD victims: When taking in their car for servicing they forget to mention the OBD tuning, and with one click more than 1000 EUR worth of tuning was lost. Written over by the update and gone). This can’t happen to you with Tuningkit®. You can always keep your vehicle up-to-date without having to renew your tuning for lots of money.

Many vehicles you can’t get going with OBD tuning generally work perfectly well with the Tuningkit®.
